As we sat down to dinner this evening flashing lightning, crashing thunder, and a precipitation tattoo on the Velux window overhead heralded relief from the pressure headache that had beset me all day. The threatened storm had broken.
Dinner consisted of Becky’s tasty linguini Bolognese with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Ian drank Moretti; Dillon drank Cider; and I drank more of the Swashbuckler.
We had a very large thunderstorm last evening Derrick. Multiple lightning flashes in one go never seen so much lightning. Storm over our heads Spectacular to watch it lighting up All the sky..
Then precious rain.. torrential.. the grandees drank well. ??

It was a hell of a storm here. I slept through it but my wife said it was like the Frankenstein film, where the lightning is so strong that it allows the Baron to attempt to bring the creature to life.

I am glad the pressure drop relieved your headache, Derrick! We don’t see many thunderstorms in our immediate area. They seem to go around us, though we can see and hear distant lightning and thunder. Hail and possible damage associated with these storms is what we fear most.

We used to get so many thunderstorms here in the summer, but I don’t think we’ve had one this summer. That or rain although it’s supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow. Hope your head is feeling better, Derrick 🙂
