Still Struggling

4th October 2020

This afternoon Jackie drove Flo, Dillon, and Ellie to Southbourne to take them for a family holiday at The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne.

I spent a good deal of time completing the post “Frustrated” of yesterday, and failing to post this one which stopped at “…Ellie”

I therefore finished reading the first volume of Richardson’s mammoth novel “Clarissa”.

In the evening Jackie and I enjoyed seconds of her cobbler and more of the same beverages.

  1. Sorry to hear you got some problems with WP, Derrick. Fortunately the Jackie’s good meal and the Bordeaux brought you some solace ! 🙂

  2. I’m glad you had a [very long] book, cobbler, and wine to mitigate the frustration. It would otherwise sound like a lovely autumn day. I hope you’re able to get the WP problems fixed soon.

  3. I wish I were there. I have this absolutely unjustified sense that I could help you out with the blog issues. If your experts can’t figure it out, it’s a certainty that I couldn’t, but still — I hate that you’re so frustrated. Excelsior!

  4. Congrats on making it to the end of Richardson’s mammoth novel “Clarissa”! By the way, I’ve also finished reading A Pale View of Hills by Kazuo Ishiguro that you brought to my attention. He is, indeed, a master storyteller.
