This morning I carried out weeding – involving brambles I had to cut down because I could not uproot them – and dead heading as normal.
Later I recovered images for the following posts:
I changed the category of the second one to Garden.
I then spent all afternoon attempting to do the same for:
Anyone who cares to click on this will see what I was presented with, namely a fusion of the required post, including the correct header, with text about another post entitled “Lunchtime”.
I am happy to say that Wayback Machine came to the rescue with the correct post from 30th June 2014. I still needed, with essential assistance from Flo, to edit the full content into the garbled mess above, with the following result:
This evening, with the addition of fresh salad and sprinkled Parmesan cheese, we all dined on a repeat sitting of yesterday’s pasta arrabbiata with which Jackie drank Duca di Sasseta Terre Siciliane Viognier 2021, and I drank more of the Côtes du Rhône.
You’re doing a great job!
Thank you so much, GP
Tedious work, but I get it – I am slowly converting my old posts to block format. I know you have a photo issue too so that’s double the work I guess.
Indeed. I’m glad you get it, Barbara. Thank you very much
That Wayback Machine sounds like a wonderful thing, Derrick!
It is quite amazing, Lavinia. Thank you very much
I like the ancient cat pawprints in the brick. 🙂
Thank you very much, Lavinia
You have the patience of a saint Derrick
I can assure you I don’t feel very saintly when I come across some of this stuff. 🙂 Thanks very much, Sheree
????
Sounds like the blog editing is more challenging than the brambles which is saying something. Dinner sounds lovely however. I love Cotes du Rhone.
Thank you very much, Pat. At least we can’t go wrong with Côtes du Rhône
You seem to have set yourself a gigantic task.
So it seems, Tootlepedal. Thank you very much
You’re putting in some good hard work, Derrick! Your patience and stick-to-it-ness is inspiring!
The photo of the cows and sheep lined up…I’ve stood in long lines like that hoping to eat! HA! (insert laughing-face)
(((HUGS))) ❤️
Thank you very much, Carolyn 🙂 X
Your perseverance continues to inspire me, with both the technical adjustments and the weeding.
Thank you so much, JoAnna. I wish I could last longer at the weeding.
A little here, a little there is good.
A very productive day!
🙂 Thanks very much, Liz
You’re welcome, Derrick.
Hi Derrick! How you doing?
I’m fine, Geeta, and hope you are, too. Thank you very much.
As much work as this is converting these posts, you deserve a double of the wine . . . .
Thank you so much, Luanne
I’ve been fighting a bramble in our garden for 41 years now. I am in second position so far.
Thanks very much, John. I suppose you can’t blame the birds
Yes, a gigantic task. But that’s how it always seems to be with time travel. Never an easy thing. 😉
Thank you so much, Laurie
Tedious work but well worth the effort, Derrick.
I’m pleased you appreciate it Eugi
I am not a fan of dead heading but it must be done.
Indeed, Robbie. Thank you very much
So much work with garden and posts! At least you got a delicious dinner. 🙂
Thanks very much, Merril
So much hard work in the garden – I admire your efforts and stamina, Derrick.
Thank you so much, Dolly
You are very welcome, Derrick.
