The beef and mushroom pie looks delicious, but we’ve moved into full summer now, and the oven won’t get turned on again until September or October, unless there’s a very special reason for it. It’s just too hot. A number of dishes like this and shepherd’s pie are winter dishes for me; bring on the salads!
