A Visit To Giles

This morning Jackie drove me to Giles’s home at Milford on Sea and collected me at lunch time. There I spent time with my longest-standing friend and Jean, largely comparing notes on our respective health conditions. This was as pleasurable as always.

Giles gave me a print I had made for him of his reflection in a glass chess board on which we were playing in 1973.

This evening we dined on Jackie’s famed chicken stewp and fresh bread with which I drank more of the Malbec.

  1. That is a wonderful way to spend the morning, with old friends. The health conversations do come seem to come as a part of aging. I have had plenty conversations like that myself, including ones on aging cats and their health problems. 🙂

  2. Wow! Yes, time with your longest-standing friend and Jean, comparing notes on your respective health conditions… what else occupies our conversations the most these days? I relate. And isn’t it special to have that long-standing connection?
