Reading

I spent much of the day finishing my reading of ‘Cover Her Face’ by P.D. James which I will review tomorrow.

This evening we all dined on fillet steaks perfectly cooked to individual taste by Becky; oven chips, onion rings, fried tomatoes, and peas, with which I drank more of the pinotage.

  1. A reading day! YAY! They are fun and always seem to renew us…heart, mind, body and soul! 🙂 I look forward to your book review!
Sounds like a yummy meal! How wonderful of Becky to chef each steak perfectly to each individual person (eater 🙂 )!

  2. By Oven Chips you meant French Fries, right? I slice up a whole potato and bake it up in the little countertop oven, yum! I had to look up Fried Tomatoes, they sound delicious!

  4. Steak, oven chips, onion rings, fried tomatoes . . . I have always struggled with peas. I like the taste but worry about moving them from plate to mouth. Apart from the green spheres it appears to have been an excellent day – may the two of you have many more of them.

  5. Derrick, I am glad we are in some contact through WordPress. Your posts give me a glimpse of your life which is different from mine in different ways. I have missed John Knifton.
    With best wishes,
    Lakshmi
