More Recent Blooms

This morning I wandered around the garden with my camera.

Here are the results, each of which bears a title in the gallery.

In the interests of keeping down my iPhoto numbers I only managed to cull two images from

but did remove all of those appearing in

This afternoon I watched the Women’s Six Nations Rugby match between Wales and Ireland.

Our dinner this evening consisted of chicken Kiev and southern fried chicken with chips, peas and sweetcorn, accompanied in my case by more of the Fleurie.

  1. Southern fried chicken with chips, peas and sweetcorn sounds pretty “southern” as we would say here. Delicious regardless. Love the photos of all the blossoms. It’s beginning to be pay off season when all the hard work of cleanup makes the blooms more beautiful.

  2. Thank you to Jackie for her tender loving care of the garden! Thank you to Derrick for taking photos of the garden! Thank you both for sharing your garden with us! The flowers, plants, trees, garden-decorations all bring abundant joy, serenity, beauty, and healing! 🙂
    (((HUGS))) ❤️❤️
PS…We have been continuing to have cold, rainy, snowy weather, so most of our flowers haven’t started blooming yet. And the trees still have no leaves. I await their arrival with excitement. 🙂

    1. Thank you so much, Sherry. We were only saying yesterday that it was ready to open to the public. Unfortunately, though we always welcome visitors we could no longer manage all that would go into such a big day
