Beautifully Balmy Day

This morning I published

for Denzil’s Nature challenge.

Jackie took advantage of the bountiful shade on this beautifully balmy day to plant up her salvia Hot Lips cuttings, while I

wandered around with my camera producing a random range of pictures, each of which bears a title in the gallery.

This evening we all dined on Jackie’s chicken jalfrezi, boiled rice, parathas, and vegetable samosas, with which she and I each drank more of yesterday’s beverages.

        1. John, your website appears to be down or inaccessible, a least for me. You might want to have a look at it. I am getting a “fatal error” message. I can get to everyone else.

          1. It was down for a few hours, Lavinia due to my error. I posted about it. Oops. ???? have a look at what I wrote.

  1. your garden is simply beautiful! i’d call it a piece of heaven on earth! thanks for sharing, Derrick! i can see Jackie’s joy! 🙂

  2. Jackie is getting a start on plant cuttings for next year, something I should be doing soon. It was 95 on the porch here today, though now that the sun is more to the south, it wasn’t too bad. We had slid into autumn, but fell back into a little heat.

  3. A beautiful balmy day…YAY! for beautiful Jackie to give her tender loving care to the baby-plants! I love the Hot Lips Salvia’s lipstick-red flowers when they bloom!
Good to see some busy bees working AND I spotted an owl!
