Today I finished scanning the Park Life prints from 20th July 1996. Here is the third and final set:
This afternoon, Jackie and I enjoyed a barbecue at Cathy and Rob’s in Highcliffe. This was the first dry day in four, so we were all very fortunate. Very good quality tasty burgers and sausages were supplemented by various plentiful salads, and cakes like Helen’s famous black forest gateau.
Bravo! Were you the official photographer? Did the cast get copies of the photographs? I’m sure they would love these if they hadn’t seen them. 🙂
Thanks, Mary. It wasn’t official, but I gave the organisers a set.
Isn’t it interesting when mask removed how quickly our feeling alters? Magnificent study in human perceptions isn’t it? Thank you so much for sharing xx
Thank you, Candice. I was surprised to find I’d taken so many. Actually I didn’t feature them all.
You have the eye… But also the nose for
Thank you, Candice
Making a story grabable
Wow, almost ten years ago! I wonder what became of these talented mimes? Like thefeatheredsleep above, I too am amazed to discover such youth beneath those masks. But almost a decade has lapsed since then…one of them could be following your blog now!
What? No wine with dinner?
Thank you Oscar. I think one or two of them are following. Actually, we were eating and drinking all afternoon. No dinner required in those circumstances.
Ah, the best kind of meals: breakunchinnerupper
So fun! These masks are amazing.
Thanks again
Encore! Encore! Bravo! Writer! Writer! Encore!
Thank you, Claire Marie
I was living in Spain when this was on, so this is the first I have heard about it. What an amazing project. Can you tell us more about it – who was it organised by and did you know what they acheived?
It was a voluntary summer project for local children. They did something each year during my daughter, Louisa’s childhood. I have other projects in the can. Thank you for the interest.
