Sunset Over Christchurch Bay

Much of the day was spent posting https://derrickjknight.com/2022/01/27/a-knights-tale-95-gaeddren/

After this I walked out of our front door into

Christchurch Road,

into Downton Lane, across the Royal Oak carpark,

and on to Roger Cobb’s footpath to catch Christchurch Bay in time for sunset.

This evening we dined on second helpings of yesterday’s Chinese Take Away with which Jackie drank Hoegaarden and I drank more of the Shiraz

I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

  1. The sun is THE STAR of your photos today! Beautiful! Rising, setting, or in-between the sun is a welcome sight! πŸ™‚ You’ve captured a beautiful variety of layers of colour on nature’s palette, Derrick!

  2. mmm – Chinese food leftovers sounds goo and you walked out the front door to some nice beauty Derrick – and now going to read your latest Knights tale πŸ™‚

  3. After the gloom of the past few days this sunny end to the day must have been most welcome. Lovely sunrises and sunsets can be very cheering.
