Today the ladies’ colds are subsiding while mine is rising. I wasn’t up to anything else today, but Jackie and I were guided by Becky in the process of producing kiosk strips of passport photos in order to prove that we live where we do for Florence’s benefit.

Jackie did not consider hers suitable for the blog.

Viewers of mine may question whether I was really up to it.

This afternoon I watched a recording of last week’s Women’s Six Nations Rugby match between Wales and Ireland. then today’s live contest between Wales and Scotland.

We dined this evening on Mr Chan’s excellent Hordle Chinese Take Away fare. No-one imbibed.

  1. ‘Twas it a goose or a pinch or a pat that got that expression out of you. ??? πŸ˜‰ HA! πŸ˜€ Just teasin’ you! πŸ˜› Is that your “It wasn’t me…I didn’t do it!” expression. ??? πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€
Hope all of you are well soon! In the meantime, take it easy and rest.

  2. LOL! The photos look like some of the mug shots I see at work! You’re much more handsome than these depict, Derrick. πŸ™‚ I hope everyone feels better soon.

  3. I hope you all get over your nagging colds soon … Hmmm … we tend to look differently into the camera lens Derrick

  4. These pictures do NOT do you justice, and that light on your head is weird, like a halo or something. I hope you can get a retake, but more than that, I hope you feel better soon.

  5. You could write a book about someone who looked at you like that. I would look at Aust v Eng in the women’s cricket but I only have free to air TV because Cricket Australia is more interested in making money than looking after the supporters.

  6. LOL! I agree, Jacki. I do not consider my drivers licence photo suitable for my licence let alone my blog. I don’t consider Derricks suitable either. πŸ˜‰ Those kiosk photo machines ARE fun though.

  7. The brevity of this post is indicative of how the cold has got to you. It tends to visit everyone in a household in turn – I take it you’re the last. A take away meal seems appropriate for the occasion. Take it easy now – no bounding off into mud and slush to take pictures on our behalf – we can wait.

  8. You still look pretty decent in that photo, if a bit caught off guard. My passport photo looked like I was preparing to do a raid on the sorority girls’ panty drawer. I was decades younger then!

  9. I hope you feel better soon, Derrick. At least you look awake in your photos. I seem to always have my closed in my pics.

  10. Hope you feel better soon. Wrangler and I have new driver’s licenses. My picture does not look good because I was squinting because I had to remove my glasses. Wrangler looks like a mugshot photo. He was upset by the hassle of retesting for his hazmat license with no notice he needed to study. And kids running around screaming.

  11. You look normal, whereas mine always make me look as miserable as sin.
Strange expression that, I always assumed that sin would not be miserable, otherwise why commit it!

  12. Your photo ‘strip’ reminded me of my high school days, when photo booths still were common. My friends and I would pay the going rate — certainly less than a dollar — and mug for the camera. Then, we’d giggle at how awful we looked, and go soothe our psyches with milkshakes.

  13. You look more shell-shocked than down with a cold!! But these PP pics never get our best side ever, do they?! Even when a photographer clicks mine. πŸ™‚
