Blog Editing, Reading, And Rugby

I am grateful to Judy Dykstra-Brown for her comments on the following two posts which I realised needed my attention – to convert them from Classic to Block edits, which I carried out this morning:

I have recategorised the first as Garden.

After lunch I read more of Honoré de Balzac’s Droll Tales, and published https://derrickjknight.com/2023/04/16/droll-tales-23/

Then I watched the Women’s Six Nations rugby match between Scotland and France.

We all later dined on Jackie’s wholesome chicken and vegetable stewp with fresh bread and a small deep pan double pepperoni pizza, with which she drank Hoegaarden and I drank Collin-Bourisset Fleurie 2021.

  1. “Then I watched the Women’s Six Nations rugby match between Scotland and France.” . . . not a pretty sight from a Scottish point of view I gather.

    1. Jackie wondered what you would think. I said you wouldn’t be watching it. France will be real competition for England. Thanks a lot, Tootlepedal

    1. I only turned to Block when WP kept saying it would be going. For what I do, the galleries are the main advantage. If you are happy with Classic it doesn’t look as if there is any point in changing. Thanks very much, Sylvie

  2. I enjoyed a look back at the previous blog entries. I’ve dropped coins in the car that are never to be found again!

    1. Although I use it, I am unaware of all the differences, now, Arlene. It was very difficult to begin to understand. The main benefit to me is the Tiled Gallery facility.

  3. There are times I think of a car’s interior as a very special form of black hole. I once had a credit card disappear, and I was sure I’d lost it. Two months after getting a replacement, I found the thing: so neatly lodged between the driver’s seat and the seat belt receptacle there was only a sliver of edge showing.

As for that spam: no, I am not responding to the breathless texts telling me my Amazon payment method no longer works, and JSUT CLIK HERE! to remedy the situation.
