Brave Peach Rambler

Today was warmer, wetter, and with alleged sunny intervals.

Raindrops clung to the windows;

moody skies suppressed the sun.

I ventured no further outside than to photograph this pink rambler overlooking the patio.

Later, I began reading “My Early Life” by Winston S. Churchill.

This evening we dined on chicken Kiev, chips, and Ratatouille with which Jackie drank Blossom Hill White Zinfandel 2022 and I drank Carménère Reserva Privada 2022

  1. We had a dry day, in my little spot of Yorkshire, but the overnight snow lingered in the fields and roof tops and is still with us. At least it lent itself to photographs. Yet down in valley in Otley where Sophie lives just three miles away, they had none!
    I hope you have dryer day tomorrow and are able to get out and about.

  2. I always love the moody clouds and the raindrops photos! Beautiful! The peachy-pink color of The Rambler just pops with joy on a grey day!
    Ooh, I enjoy biographies and memoirs, etc., so that book would be right up my alley. I hope some day you will review it for us.
    (((HUGS))) ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
    PS… “A profusion of pink roses bending ragged in the rain speaks to me of all gentleness and its enduring.” ~ William Carlos Williams 🙂

  3. Do you see the shaggy dog peering through your windowpane to the left in your first photo? I, alas, must venture out in the rain and drive through it an hour each way to collect my sister and friend. An adequate reward! It is supposed to rain the entire time they are here. The rainy season arrived 6 months late!!!
