I Couldn’t Be Bothered

Whilst I enjoyed a Chiropractic session this morning another day’s relentless lashing rain set in.

Before splashing off to Sears Barbers in Milford on Sea, watching windscreen wipers swishing back and forth, I kept well ahead of my targeted daily tally of Kristin Lavransdatter pages.

Raindrops slid down the window obscuring Ellie’s Hey Duggee! bubble machine. I really couldn’t be bothered to photograph any more rain. Jackie, on the other hand, whilst waiting for me outside the

barbers’, noticed the irony of this sign in the window of the gift shop opposite, and bothered to

depict the wet streets and

a pair of sopping crows seeking shelter beneath a dripping bench.

This evening we all dined on Jackie’s curry meals with all the extras that we enjoyed last night, with which she drank Hoegaarden and I drank more of the Côtes du Rhône.

  1. The village looks very nice, I would love to see it in person. I hope you guys get a break from the rain, it never seems to stop! Sun Cream? Does that mean Sun Screen? It’s funny how we have the same language but with slight differences. ❤️????????❤️

    1. Yes, John. Ellie is using both her Dad and her Mum’s words. I expect that is Sun Screen. Thanks very much

  2. It all does seem the same after a while, but I like Jackie’s photos, especially the curves, angles, and reflections in the first wet street shot. Hope you get some sunshine soon!

  3. Jackie’s photos are wonderful! So creative artistic and fun! They bring the joy! Thank you for sharing them with us! Ooh…Hey Duggee got a shower! 🙂 Yes, that sign is ironic and funny on a soggy dark-gray day! 🙂 Those wise crows know it’s a sit-UNDER-the-bench kinda’ day! Ha! 🙂
(((HUGS))) and ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ to everyone at your house!!!

  4. A weather forecaster on local news told us this wet weather will be our norm from now on thanks to Global warming. What a depressing thought.

  5. We’ve had rain for the last 3 days and I am tired of it! Today the weather prediction is sunshine and I hope they are right.
