Over the last two days Jackie has completed and photographed her clearance of the east side of the Front Drive.
This was the last stretch before she continued the work, revealing a
clean corner we have never seen before.
She also photographed a couple of her planted urns.
The iMac pictures now tally 57,332.
This evening we dined on Mr Pink’s fish and chips, Mrs Elswood’s sandwich gherkins, and Garner’s pickled onions.
I’m sure you’ find ways of filing that corner, Derrick
We will, Robbie. Much of what has been cleared has been moved elsewhere, and shorter plants will replace them. The problem has been that the road traffic has been obscured when driving out. Thank you very much.
I understand, that would be dangerous
Well done, Head Gardener!
Thanks very much, Rosaliene
Impressive, Derrick.
Thank you very much, Pat
The hang gliders remind me of visits to my daughter in San Diego. We saw a lot of cliffs and a lot of hang gliders.
Thank you very much, Liz
You’re welcome, Derrick.
Lovely photos, Derrick, and a job well done, Jackie! 😎
What a wonderful collection of photos and moments Derrick!

The front drive area is looking magnificent, well done Jackie.
Thank you so much from each of us, Sue
II see that you are making discoveries in your own garden, Derrick: “the corner we have never seen before.”
Thank you very much, Dolly
You are very welcome, Derrick.
That is a lot of photos! It must be great to go back and look at them.
Yes – and I get lost in reading the posts and the comments.
Ah memories! So sweet! And today’s successes – yay! Thanks for sharing. Carpé Diem!!
Thanks very much, Jan. Love to all
Those are a beautiful collection of memories, Derrick!
Jackie has worked very hard clearing the east side front drive. The planted urns are beautiful, too!
Thank you very much, Lavinia
Beautiful memories! And what a great job Jackie did!
I must admit that’s my job for the winter, not looking forward to it.
Thanks very much, Gary
Those potted urns are terrific; and the macros of the insects; the London Eye. Nelson’s Column reminds me that I managed to get a brief look at London back in 1997 during a long layover when I was on my way to Zambia for work. I used to have a picture of myself standing next to one of the giant lions arrayed below Nelson’s Column. Lost that photo along with most of my printed photos in the 2015 house fire. Sigh. Somehow, I managed to still have a photo of myself on the Zambesi river below Victoria Falls with the bridge between Zambia and Zimbabwe above/behind me. Ah, memories. ~Ed.
That is why that fire was so awful. Thanks very much, Ed
Wow, that corner now looks fabulous!
Thank you so much, Sheree
