On another day when the weather behaved like a grizzling infant I deleted from my library all the pictures from
Yet none from
nor
each of which bears just a selection of the collection.
Then I turned my attention to ‘The Brontës’.
This evening we dined on flavoursome fish cakes; piquant cauliflower cheese; boiled potatoes; crunchy carrots; tender chopped cauliflower leaves and green beans, with which I drank more of the Malbec.
Loved reading about you and Jackie in the early stages of Act 2.
Thank you very much, Pat
Have you a hard and fast policy on which picture gets culled and which gets preserved? I am finding it difficult to choose.
Generally I keep the family photos, but delete those that are not the best of repeated themes – e.g. forest drives which follow established routes or garden flowers
I enjoyed reading the past posts.
Thank you very much, Sue
A wonderful collection of photos from the ‘Boating and Fishing’ post, Derrick …
Thank you very much, Ivor
The Brontes is a great place to turn to, wonderful storytelling.
Thank you very much, Gary
Deleting family photos is hard. I love ALL the whimsical, wispy photos in the Prop and most from Boating and Fishing. Maybe one or two were redundant in the last post, but all wonderful photos! Good luck!
Thank you so much, JoAnna
I love seeing all of these photos and learning more about you
Thank you so much, Donna
I’m not sure where to comment other than to say culling photographs is a bit like chopping of a toe now and then.
Thank you very much, John
You have so many wonderful photos…I think they are all so lovely. I don’t know how you choose what to cull. Didn’t Mr. Bill Shakespeare say, “To cull, or not to cull, that is the question.” 🙂
I enjoy reading your older post…especially memories about your family. 🙂
(((HUGS))) ❤️❤️ to you and Jackie!!
Thank you so much, Carolyn XX
It’s such a job going through photos. You’re doing it so well, Derrick. You’ve recorded so many lovely family photos and memories.
I enjoyed the Props selection, and especially the photo you used as a header.
