Here Comes Spring

This morning I deleted from my iPhotos all the images from

and from

The garden today is Springlike.

Having taken in the general scene from our upstairs windows, I wandered around delighting in some individual blooms. Each of these images bears a title in the gallery.

This afternoon I watched the Women’s Six Nations rugby match between England and Italy.

Our dinner this evening consisted of roast duck and chicken pieces; boiled new potatoes; firm carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, with which I finished the Kimbao wine.

  1. I always enjoy the garden views from above and especially appreciate the perspective of #4 showing the paths coming out from the center. The flower close ups are beautiful. The Daffodils in Ali Baba pot are my favorite.

    1. Not from iPhone – from iPhotos because there are almost 60,000. Thanks very much, Ilze

  2. So beautiful! Y’all work so hard to keep it lovely. Please give Jackie special kudos from me for maintaining it so attentively. People thousands of miles away are encouraged and uplifted by the beauty of your gardens; and thank you so much, Derrick, for photographing, uploading, and posting! ~Ed.

  3. I loved the scenes from the upper window, which show the layout of the gardens. Pansies and Tete-a-Tete daffodils in spring are among my favorites, though it is hard to pick favorites when I love them all.

  4. Derrick, I so love your garden. It is bringing me much needed peace. Thank you!

  5. Oh my goodness!! Your garden is so colorful! We still have snow on the ground here! I love your photos of that gorgeous, healthy, colorful garden, Derrick. Wow!! Brilliant.
