This morning’s culling of photographs involved deleting from my iPhotos all images included in
and in
and all but the header in
Between watching matches between Wales and France and between England and Ireland in Women’s Six Nations Rugby competition I read more of ‘Britannia’.
Elizabeth visited us this afternoon to congratulate me on my good health news, and stayed for dinner which included pork spare ribs in barbecue sauce on a bed of Jackie’s savoury rice, and tender green beans, with which I drank more of the Merlot.
Lovely and accomplished day,Derrick.
Thank you very much, Pat
Well done with the culling. The rest of the day sounds enjoyable.
Thank you very much, Merril
Kudos on your successful culling! I’m still chipping away at mine.
Thank you very much, Liz. I’m still adding more Than I remove
Uh oh. You’re welcome, Derrick.
Sounds like a lovely day!

, and
for Elizabeth!
So glad you got to spend some time with Elizabeth! A congratulatory time and delicious dinner!
(((HUGS)))
Thank you so much, Carolyn XX
I still think you could make lighter work of this. Just bulk-copy the older files onto the largest capacity memory stick you can find without deleting anything. Label the memory stick. Delete the original files you’ve just copied, and ‘jobs a good un,’ as they say here in Yorkshire!
I’ve also been having culling sessions, though it’s more for spring cleaning my computer than the need to free up space on it.
Due to resizing the images for blog use, I end up with two copies of everything. So I’m going through each year and month and having culling sessions, like I ought to have done in the first place! Fortunately, the resized versions are in subfolders, which makes it easier for me to delete the first version.
Thanks very much, Sue. I’m sure it’s all very simple. I haven’t seen Becky for a while to assist ( she’s been away and come back with a cold) XX
And if you’re anything like me you’ll forget to ask!
I’m beginning to think I forget more than I remember, if only I could remember those things I forget!
Well done with the culling, Derrick. I am still trying to resolve my computer issues.
That would be beyond me. I wish you well with it. Thanks very much, Eugi
Thank you, Derrick.
Did you and Jackie ever figure out what she found in the garden? They look like nuts of some sort, a bit like beechnuts. Didn’t you have a beech tree in your garden?
We do have one in ours. These were in Elizabeth’s, and we still don’t know. Thank you very much, Lavinia
Sounds like a very good day!
Thank you very much, Laurie
I will go and look for the details of your good news. Lovely for you to see Elizabeth.
You must have missed it while you were in hospital. My bladder is clear and I don’t need another preventive procedure for 5 months. Also no after effects from cystoscopy this time. Thanks very much, Robbie
I did find it, Derrick. Such good news

A relatively relaxed day
Indeed. Thank you very much, Sheree
