This morning Jackie and I completed our final selection of photographs taken at Karen and Barry’s wedding on 15th. They total 189, of which I made 36 A4 prints this afternoon.
After this I posted https://derrickjknight.com/2022/07/19/the-sea-the-sea/
This evening we dined on second helpings of yesterday’s Red Chilli Takeaway meal with which we each drank the same beverages, i.e. Hoegaarden, water and Fleurie.
That was quite a job, and you did it quickly it seems to me!
Still much more to do, Merril. Thank you very much
Bet you two are relieved to have the pictures finished. Good work
Will the takeout last for 3 days?
We may have to top up the takeout with Jackie’s rice on this, the third day. There are still 153 prints to make 🙂 Thanks very much, Pat
Kudos on the wedding photo project!
Thanks very much, Liz
You’re welcome, Derrick.
I’m in for a few hours this afternoon, until going back to work in the early evening. I just was reading about the heat and fires there, and thought you might be interested in the report from this site I follow for reporting on such matters.
I followed the link and have bookmarked it, Linda. Thank you.
It’s one of the most dependable sources of information for fire generally, no matter where it occurs. Gabbert has good connections within the fire community, and a lot of experience. I’ve learned a lot from reading his posts.
Thanks very much, Linda. The site has it covered well
Apart from an early visit to the hairdressers ( complete with cool fan) I did nothing else today but sleep and try to ignore our 37° unbearable heat. I hope it wasn’t too bad for you.
I stayed indoors, too. Thanks very much, Sue.
Hard work 📸
Many thanks, Ribana
I am sure your photographs will be truly appreciated, Derrick.
Thank you very much, Dolly
you are very welcome, Derrick.
189 photos to select 36 from is a lot of work!
The first count was 300+ Thanks very much, Lavinia
Based on your past performance, the newly married couple are bound to be pleased with the joint effort of you and Jackie. They made a good choice!
Thank you so much from us both, Anne
I will leave comments to another time. I just want to commiserate with those who have lost houses in London and those who have lost friends and relations to the heat. Don’t believe it when Australians tell you it’s nothing to worry about. Most of us hate 40 deg days and high 30 degree days.
Thank you very much, John
What a big job!
And so kind of you and Jackie to take the lovely photos!
I know the happy couple appreciates your work for them that was done with love!
(((HUGS))) ❤️❤️
PS…Please stay safe in that heat! I’m so concerned about everyone there!
We get very hot here…but 90+ of the buildings, homes, businesses, etc., here are air conditioned.
We are certainly unprepared, Carolyn, but the worst is past – for now. Thank you very much X
Oh, good! I’m so glad the worst is past! Weather-heat can be so dangerous.
Wonderful!
Thanks a lot, Laurie
I was a little perturbed to think of you and yours eating Red Chilli Peppers for three consecutive days, but I presume that the name refers to a restaurant chain?
Yes, John. Thanks a lot
