It has recently been brought to my attention that newer followers may need some clarification about my family tree. I therefore converted to Block Edit and slightly amended the following post:

Before I needed a break from the recovery process I gave the same treatment to

With howling gales continuing throughout the day I then posted https://derrickjknight.com/2023/04/12/droll-tales-21/

  1. You weren’t kidding when you mentioned you have a complicated family tree ๐Ÿ˜‰ I am sure most are though some facts are more hidden in some. Spring and wind go together.

  2. With howling gales continuing throughout the day, I can imagine being inside feeling cozy. Still, I like the header photo.

  3. Hope the howling winds didn’t do too much damage. I read your family history to refresh my memory. It occurred to me that I have been following you for at least six years. Tempus fugit!

    1. Yes, it has been a good long friendship, Laurie. There will be some damage – we will look around today. Thanks very much

  4. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve read your family tree, always fascinating to remind myself. I was so pleased that it remained intact after the transfer.

While you were still on WordPress itself, and using the theme before last, I believe you had your family tree and information included in an About Page. I can’t help wondering if James could create another. It wouldn’t take him more than a few minutes to set up a page where you could add/copy/paste information.

    1. Thanks very much, Sue. I know you saved the page recently for fear of it getting lost. I haven’t been able to post anything yet today.

  5. Your family tree is very interesting, Derrick. I think many family trees are complicated. Mine is very complex.

  6. The family tree was interesting to go through again, and I have bookmarked it for reference for future posts.

I hope your weather settles down, Derrick.

  7. UK weather has been dreadful of late. Both my sisters have been bitterly complaining: the one canโ€™t play golf and the other canโ€™t garden.
