Afterwards I read more of ‘The Brontës’.
This evening we dined on pork spare ribs in barbecue sauce; Jackie’s colourful savoury rice topped with a thick omelette; flavoursome samosas; and tender runner beans, with which I drank more of the Malbec.
I’m sure there are many wonderful memories in those lovely photos, Derrick! ❤️😊
I love that last photo!
Thank you very much, Liz. I had wanted that as the header, but WP obviously didn’t agree
You’re welcome, Derrick. WP can be pretty uncooperative at times.
Your B&W photos are so beautiful! So creative, so artistic! Love the sweet faces, love the light and shadows! All of these are frame-worthy…to be lovingly displayed…because they bring the joy! 🙂
(((HUGS))) ❤️❤️
Thank you so much, Carolyn XX
Most productive day, Derrick. Another delicious dinner.
Thank you very much, Pat
Are you editing the posts as you cull the pictures?
No. The posts seem OK
Sweet.
Thank you very much, Cindy
I LOVE Sam’s den and Jessica sitting blissfully in the field.
Thank you so much, JoAnna
Dramatic black and white photos Derrick.
Thank you very much, Arlene
Monochrome pictures still hold an allure for me.
Thank you very much, Anne
I am also trying to reduce the amount of photos on lightroom and the exercise is a mix of joy and pain (I am unsure if I will ever be able to finish the task)
Me, too, Sylvie. Thank you very much
Happy New Year Derrick! I always believed that black & white pictures have something mysterious!
Thank you so much, Riba. You too
Lovely photos, Derrick. I especially like the last one of Jessica in the field.
Thank you very much, Merril
Beautiful black and white photos, Derrick. I enjoy how the detail seems more pronounced.
Thank you very much, Eugi
You’re most welcome, Derrick.
More lovely memories.
As usual, I find your black and white photos exquisite, Derrick.
Thank you so much, Dolly
You are very welcome, Derrick.
1985? That was yesterday, wasn’t it? 😉
Yep
Those are beautiful black and white photos. I don’t think I ever used Ilford film. I used Kodak Technical Pan Film 2415.
Thank you very much, Lavinia
There’s a rustic charm about your ‘black & white’ photos of the old cartwheels which turned my imagination, maybe there’s a poem in those ‘stoic and silent spokes’, Derrick
Sounds good, Ivor. Thank you very much
