A Talented Family

I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

  1. A friend shared that same clip on FB last night. That family looked like they were having fun. It made me think of the car rides when our children were young and we listened to Les Miz to pass the time.

  2. I shared that clip on Facebook and have been spreading a lot of joy. I especially enjoyed the way the two younger kids squabble in the beginning. Don’t know if it was staged or not, but as a parent, I sure thought it looked authentic. Then, of course, the song itself. Caught the times perfectly, and in such a creative way.

  3. ABC News has a feature called ‘America Strong’ at the end of each evening broadcast. Last night they called it ‘Britain Strong’ and played this …. David Muir was struggling not to cry at the end. thank you for sharing, Derrick and thank you or leading me to Bereaved Sigle Dad’s Blog which I have duly followed. Courage to all.

  4. I saw that video on our news! Thank you for sharing it, Derrick! It is worthy of watching again and again! It brings joy-tears! πŸ™‚
Isn’t it wonderful to see that family smile and sing…they are very talented musically!
And they have brought joy to the whole world!

      1. My pleasure, Derrick. I am happy to report that I showed it last night in my online classes to my students’ delight. They send you their collective applause.

  5. I saw the family performance on Facebook and enjoyed how genuine and talented they are. Looked like they’d worked hard but also had fun together.
