This evening we all dined on Jackie’s chicken stewp, supplemented by turkey, duck, and ham, with which she drank more of the Grรผner Veltliner and Drank more of the Shiraz.

  1. Dinner sounds delicious, Derrick and Jackie. I hope things have warmed up in your area and that you will have a new oil tank soon!

It rained here this morning, and it it somewhat sunny and mild this afternoon here in my part of the Pacific Northwest. A relative just called to say they are having trouble keeping their own house warm in this latest polar air excursion over the northeast. He said Mount Washington, a mountain I used to hike back east, was listed as -94 degrees at the summit. I just looked it up, and it will be -100 on Friday with the windchill.

    1. Thanks very much from us both Lavinia. We are warmer at the moment, but our cold weather is nothing like yours

  3. That soup looks delicious! We needed some of that yesterday. It poured from the early morning hours until late last night. Thankfully we had sunshine today, but the temperatures were quite chilly. Iโ€™m ready for spring!
