Converting To Blocks

This afternoon I watched the last three matches of this year’s Six Nations rugby competition, between Scotland and Italy, between France and Wales, and finally, between England and Ireland.

Before then I published https://derrickjknight.com/2023/03/18/droll-tales-13/

Then converted the following Classic Edit posts to Blocks:

This evening we all dined on Jackie’s flavoursome penne Bolognese sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and accompanied by tender runner beans, with which she drank Hoegaarden and I drank more of the Nero di Troia.

  1. You are on a mission! That meal sounds delicious. I’ll be dining on roast chicken and gravy with roasted baby potatoes and a crisp salad. I shall be enjoying a Diagolo Douro alongside πŸ™‚

  2. More good work done! I admire the time, energy, and creativity you’ve been putting in!
    Your meal sounds yummy!
‘Tis a cold day here…so we made homemade chili with a variety of beans, peppers, onions, tomatoes, garlic, etc!

    1. Despite the cards, England redeemed themselves yesterday. Thanks very much, Gary

    1. Never mind, Arlene. I went to it when they kept telling us the Classic would go. Thanks very much

  3. Good on you, Derrick for getting through all the backlog. Rugby is a subject that I dare not comment on with my lack of knowledge. I can yell out in support when needed an important attribute some could say.

        1. As I said to my dentist recently, when he was offering me a choice of treatment, “It depends how long I’ve got” πŸ™‚

    1. It enables he images to be put into galleries and be enlarged by the viewer. Thanks for asking, Andrew

  4. Good for you for persevering, Derrick. It will be worth it in the end when you can site back and say – I did it! – and enjoy the rewards of your hard work.

  5. Always enjoyable to look back on your past posts.

Oh, the joys of moving into a β€˜used’ house!
When we moved here it was my late brother (16 years older) and my sister-in-law who came to help with the scrubbing. I stayed behind at our old (modern) house to do a final clean before handing over to the new owners.
I was mortified to see how much deep cleaning was required at our new (older) house. So disappointing.

  6. That is a lot of ongoing work doing the conversions, Derrick. A labor of love! Your dinner sounds delicious again, as Jackie’s cooking always does.
