Today the ladies’ colds are subsiding while mine is rising. I wasn’t up to anything else today, but Jackie and I were guided by Becky in the process of producing kiosk strips of passport photos in order to prove that we live where we do for Florence’s benefit.
Jackie did not consider hers suitable for the blog.
Viewers of mine may question whether I was really up to it.
This afternoon I watched a recording of last week’s Women’s Six Nations Rugby match between Wales and Ireland. then today’s live contest between Wales and Scotland.
We dined this evening on Mr Chan’s excellent Hordle Chinese Take Away fare. No-one imbibed.
Who goosed you, Derrick? We all look surprised in kiosk pictures. π
We do, Pat. I certainly can’t cope with the timing of these things π
No one imbibed? This is a first, Derrick. Hope Jackie is soon in the pink.
Thanks very much, Judy. Heads all a bit tender
Oh, dear . . . π
Thanks very much, Liz
You’re welcome, Derrick.
These remind me of a couple driver’s license pictures I had. My current one is okay though…
Thanks very much, Barbara π
You do look a bit like someone startled you awake.
I hope everyone is feeling better tomorrow.
Thanks very much, Merril
You’re welcome. π I hope you’re feeling better.
Not a lot, thanks. very much π
π
You look as though someone pinched your backside, Derrick! No wine? Hmmm… πππ»
Thanks a lot, John. π Definitely off alcohol
‘Twas it a goose or a pinch or a pat that got that expression out of you. ??? π HA! π Just teasin’ you! π Is that your “It wasn’t me…I didn’t do it!” expression. ??? π π
Hope all of you are well soon! In the meantime, take it easy and rest.
(((HUGS))) π
Thank you so much, Carolyn π X
LOL! The photos look like some of the mug shots I see at work! You’re much more handsome than these depict, Derrick. π I hope everyone feels better soon.
Thank you so much, Jill π
There should have been one of those content warnings at the top of this post for those of a nervous disposition.
Certainly, Tootlepedal. Thanks a lot.
Don’t we all have a few of those. π
We sure do, Bridget. Thanks very much
Hope you all feel better soon!
Thanks very much, Laurie
I hope you all get over your nagging colds soon … Hmmm … we tend to look differently into the camera lens Derrick
The click always catches me by surprise, Ivor. Thanks very much
those photos are my nightmare, get better soon
Thanks very much, Sylvie
These pictures do NOT do you justice, and that light on your head is weird, like a halo or something. I hope you can get a retake, but more than that, I hope you feel better soon.
I really don’t care too much what is on my passport, JoAnna – but thank you for your kind comments
It is kinda funny. π
Indeed
Feel better soon!!!
Thanks very much, Janet
You could write a book about someone who looked at you like that. I would look at Aust v Eng in the women’s cricket but I only have free to air TV because Cricket Australia is more interested in making money than looking after the supporters.
That’s a shame, John. Thanks a lot
LOL! I agree, Jacki. I do not consider my drivers licence photo suitable for my licence let alone my blog. I don’t consider Derricks suitable either. π Those kiosk photo machines ARE fun though.
Thanks very much from us both, Chrissy. Good for a laugh I thought.
Hahaha….I think we all look so startled in those kiosks pictures π
We do, indeed, Ribana π Thanks a lot
My driving licence looks like Iβve just sat on drawing pins.
We are all the same, Gary. Thanks very much
The brevity of this post is indicative of how the cold has got to you. It tends to visit everyone in a household in turn – I take it you’re the last. A take away meal seems appropriate for the occasion. Take it easy now – no bounding off into mud and slush to take pictures on our behalf – we can wait.
Thank you so much, Anne. There will be no bounding anywhere for a day or two π
You look mighty startled in the strip! Wish you all a speedy recovery.
Thanks very much, Uma. Those machines always catch me π
I had the same expression years ago when a man exposed himself to me in a Nottingham toilet.
Thanks for that, John:)
You look up to having your picture taken, but you look surprised that you did! haha
Well observed GP π
You still look pretty decent in that photo, if a bit caught off guard. My passport photo looked like I was preparing to do a raid on the sorority girls’ panty drawer. I was decades younger then!
Thanks a lot, Doug π
I hope you feel better soon, Derrick. At least you look awake in your photos. I seem to always have my closed in my pics.
π Thanks very much, Eugi
Hope you feel better soon. Wrangler and I have new driver’s licenses. My picture does not look good because I was squinting because I had to remove my glasses. Wrangler looks like a mugshot photo. He was upset by the hassle of retesting for his hazmat license with no notice he needed to study. And kids running around screaming.
Somewhere, there must be a collection of reject mugshots from those machines π Thanks very much, Mrs W.
You’re welcome.
I hope you feel better soon, Derrick. I never look good in these kind of photos. π
I don’t think anyone does π Thanks very much Lavinia
You look normal, whereas mine always make me look as miserable as sin.
Strange expression that, I always assumed that sin would not be miserable, otherwise why commit it!
A good reflection on that phrase. I’m not sure I look normal π
You look a little surprised thatβs all.
Thanks very much, Sue
Heh, π you look a bit stunned mullet-ish there, my friend. π
π Thanks a lot, Widders
Deary me, the haloed rabbit caught in the headlights. These official photos never look right, do they? At least you have the excuse of a cold. Hope you are better soon.
Thanks very much, Gwen π
Your photo ‘strip’ reminded me of my high school days, when photo booths still were common. My friends and I would pay the going rate — certainly less than a dollar — and mug for the camera. Then, we’d giggle at how awful we looked, and go soothe our psyches with milkshakes.
You and many others, Linda. π Thanks very much
You look more shell-shocked than down with a cold!! But these PP pics never get our best side ever, do they?! Even when a photographer clicks mine. π
Thank you so much, Joycee π
First of all, speedy recovery to all of you! Secondly, it looks as if Derrick is wondering whether he is really up to it, rather than the viewers.
Quite so, Dolly. Thanks very much π
You are very welcome, Derrick.
Your pictures are better than mine, Derrick. I always look sullen on my passport or visa photographs.
Don’t we all produce something that disguises our nature π Thanks very much, Geetha
Yes we most certainly do Derrick. You are most welcome
Those pictures made me laugh. We can ALL sympathize! I do hope you are all soon feeling better. <3
Thank you very much, Jodie X
