Paths And Plants

This morning’s iPhotos culling involved all but one image featured in

and all from

While catering with beverages for those working on the garden I photographed a few plants, each of which bears its title in the gallery.

In addition to everything else that they achieved, Martin refurbished a footpath in the Rose Garden

while Jackie continued clearing the Heligan Path.

This evening we enjoyed more of yesterday’s fuseli Bolognese meal with the addition of tender broccoli stems and the same wines.

  1. Ahh, it looks as though summer has settled in at your garden. I love that I have a better sense of it’s dimensions and place in the world now. I have stood right on those paths and smelled the blossoms. <3

  2. Love the Dutch Irises and Hagley’s Hybrid reflected in the mirror! 🙂
It is so lovely to see how all of the garden-dwellers get along. Together they bring beauty, peace, and joy into the world. Flowers don’t start conflicts with other flowers, they don’t compete with other flowers, they bloom, grow, bring new beginnings, aid and help in the survival of all of nature.
They even help us human-beans. I wish more human-beans figured out the importance of doing that…and would live that way.
    (((HUGS))) ❤️❤️ 🙂

  3. Your beautiful garden looks summery and inviting. Great capture of shadows in the photo of the refurbished footpath in the Rose Garden.

  4. It’s so nice to see the “grown-up” garden! I can’t start mine. No manure / good soil. Nothing will grow in my clay… I can make pots for sure! Pity I prefer gardening 🙂

  5. Wish I had someone serving cold beverages while gardening outdoors on a hot day 🙂 The stunning blooms attest to Jackie’s and Martin’s dedicated hard work.
