I am now posting the second half of the pages of this book the first of which was published yesterday as https://derrickjknight.com/2022/07/09/seventies-city-celebrations/
Here are the pages written by Marian Lines and illustrated by Charles Keeping. As before these images may be enlarged in the gallery.
These will speak for themselves, and need no further comment from me.
The use of rhyme in these poems is very effective.
Yes. Thanks very much, Liz.
You’re welcome Derrick.
We have an industrial past. Matters have changed. But the art is lovely. Thank you, Derrick. I am now 78 despite Youthfull looks. 🙂
I like Pavement Plane Trees and Fishing the best–illustrations and verse.
Thanks very much, Merril

Lovely photos.
Thanks very much, Pat
My favorite is Pavement Plane Trees, too. Illustration and verse are very good.
Thanks for sharing more of this amazing book…poems and illustrations are fun and unique!
“Street Bands” is wonderful! I can hear the music!
I googled Marian Lines and learned more about her. 🙂
(((HUGS))) 🙂
Thanks very much, Carolyn X
Great accomplishment.
Thanks very much, Peggy
It’s a delightful keepsake of the period. I noticed a page for a West Indian street band, but, without the names of the band’s members, I’m unable to learn more about the band.
I’ve had a look on Google without success, Rosaliene. Thanks very much
Thanks for sharing the compilation of intriguing poems come alive by Charles Keeping’s art.
Much appreciated, Uma
I like how the illustrations accompany the poems!
Thank you very much, Ribana
