A Walk Round The Garden

The sun emerged quite late today. After I had opened the gate for Aaron.

These are a few shots I took on the way there and back. As usual accessing these two galleries with clicks will access titles.

Much of the rest of the day was spent listening to the Ashes Test Match.

This evening we dined on Jackie’s choice chicken jalfrezi; marvellous mushroom rice topped with a perfect omelette; and a tasty paratha with which she drank Blue Moon and I drank more of the Saint-Chinian

  1. I so love your garden Derrick but it’s a just reward for all your and Jackie’s hard work.

  2. Why do we have filled in wells to be found everywhere? It is interesting your garden also has one.

Your garden is a miniature woods, but your camera has it mapped.

  3. Absolutely beautiful Derrick – Such a pleasure starting my day by admiring your garden, especially on this very wet morning! Scuppered all plans once again!

  4. Wow! The pink and white gladiolus is simply glorious. πŸ™‚

But then the entire back garden is also.

Out of respect, i will not mention the cricket. OOPS!

Sorry that just slipped out, i shall not mention the cricket for a second time then….. D’OH!!!

  5. I love gladiolas, I have them myself, but I wish the bulbs would bloom more than one a year. It’s not like we have a freeze hear or anything. The dormant time seems so long.

  6. One advantage of following bloggers from overseas is that we get to see the flowers during our winter. It helps us to maintain our faith that the seasons will turn. Brilliant stuff Derrick.
